Speaking of tacos...

Last Sunday, Nelson posted about a topic I love, TACOS!
He also posted about the great Taco Hunt website, rad!
I looked at it and it doesn't mention the best Taco place in the LBC, Taqueria La Mexicana!
The only taco place that I have had all kinds of weird random people mention. Mainly people that don't live in LB anymore. I am on a flight to Iowa, sitting next to a cute Laotian girl, who it turns out used to live in LB. She said, I really miss the taco place on 4th! Yes the same place that I am talkin about.

They have it all, the Sopes are unfuckin beliveable!
Now I know that I am not a purist, coz I am a cheese, hot sauce and sour cream person.
Yeah I know i am only supposed to get hot sauce, cilantro and onions...

Here they are to go, as we walk up there to get em often.
So, if you are in the LBC, check it out!
Taqueria La Mexicana on the corner of 4th and Coronado, thats one street west of Redondo.

Knucklehead Steve

One of the original chopper heroes from NYC.
There are really only 2.
His Knucklehead is still one of the ultimate Knuckles of all time.
In the original build or in it's green form that it was in 5 years ago.

Here he is in Yokahama for Mooneyes '04 riding (I am pretty sure) Minatos chop.
See that smile? Thats why...

The greatest score at the Chop Meet!

So, here I am at the Chop Meet and of course the first person I see is Negotiable Tim When I am looking for any part that I just can't find, Tim seems to be able to find it for me, and he knows the stuff I am always lookin for and he keeps an eye open. We also do a lot of trading, complete bikes for parts all kinds of shit.
So, he pulls this gem out a box to show it to me. Sweet! an old engraved points cover like the ones CJ Allan used to do.

Til I see the bottom, CJ DID do this one!!! SWEET!

So after some haggling, I brought it home with me! Thanx Tim!

You want know more about CJ, goto his website
or an older post about him on my blog here
and see what he's up to right now!

Another killer bike from Top Shelf!
and there will be a neat part from me on this bike as well...

The Beverly Hills Boardtrack!

One and a quarter mile of mayhem. 100mph on a bike with no brakes and skinny oily tires.

Man i would give anything to see it for real.
