Dave, there hasn't been a Sac mile for a few years now. Ray Weser who signed this wire is in his mid 90's now and still lives in Sac. He's writing a book about his job with HD and his time in the early 50's when he was an AMA ref in Norcal dirt track races. Neat old man with tons of cool stories. I'm an Old North Long Beach boy from the early 60's. Remember Tom Burke?
That sucks indeed but at least the Indy Mile is back as part of the MotoGP weekend.
