The 70 GS Skylark was the fastest muscle car of its era, faster than Hemi Mopars, Big Block Chevys, all of 'em.
The fist car I owned in America when I moved here in 81 was a 70 Buick Riviera with the last year 11:1 compression 455, it was a wild uncontrollable beast with bad brakes that met its demise in a high speed collision with a telephone pole, it was $750 well spent.
