wow! i used to own a toy plane just like this one, never seen a real one even in pictures, always facinating when seeing something real the first time! great one Dave!
I built a model of one of these when i was a kid and hung it on my ceiling. Every day I woke up looking at that thing and I always wondered why something so cool came and went and there just isn't anything like it anywhere. Usually something comes along to steal the beauty and style of previous cool things, but this one stays as it is. A classic if there ever was one. Thanks Dave.
I saw one Friday hanging from the roof of a building in Springfield, Mass. They will be moving it soon to place it in a new museum. That museum will also have the contents of the Indian Motocycle Museum. Opens in October. Will try and get pics on moving day.
