This past weekend
This was a busy, yet kick ass weekend here in sunny so cal!
First off we had the Born Free Show, thanx Grant and Poon for makin this show a killer deal for everybody that showed up.
Then we had the Comune : Karlson Tea Party. Pretty damn cool Frank, and thanx to Nelson for putting the bike stuff together at the party!
and it was apleasure to met Nikki, down from Seattle for the weekend on the coolest bike I have seen in a long time, period. More pix of her bike and all the above to come!
Alot of good people were in town for the weekend, it was a pleasure to see and hang with you all!

Happy Birthday to SUGAR BEAR!!!
Saturday there was a small party at Sugar Bears shop to celebrate his 70th birthday!!!
I have a ton of respect for Sugar Bear as he's one of those guys who has always done it his way and not comprimised, for the past FORTY YEARS!!!

Here are both pages from the parts book. Most of the stuff is the same as normal, cept the rod and the lever arm, not really sure why we couldnt use a normal big twin lever arm, the square is probably the same size...

Bennetts Performance is breakin records again!
So, The Bennett's (Eric and Bob) were back out of the salt and decided that they needed to better their record in the APG 1650 class,
"A" means Special Constrution
"P" means Pushrod Engine
"G" means Gas
1650 is 1650cc or 100" displacement
They held the record at 168.1 MPH, they went out and did and average of two passes at 169.759mph. That might not seem like much, but at that speed a mph is a VERY hard thing to come by, congrats to them!
