Here are both pages from the parts book. Most of the stuff is the same as normal, cept the rod and the lever arm, not really sure why we couldnt use a normal big twin lever arm, the square is probably the same size...

Probably because the rod is shorter the lever would be different to balance the force to both brakes.
ReplyDeleteI'm no expert, just guessing that your talking about the lever that is on the end of side car brake lever shaft. After some thought, it would seem the lever would be the same length as the one on the back of the sidecar brake. The problem is, the exploded view seems to show a linked(?) double lever at the backing plate.
