    Just think....Yeager couldn't be selected to enter the original astronaut program because he didn't meet ONE of the requirements - he didn't have four years of college.

    I used to know an old lady that went to high school with him. She said after he became a pilot, he used to buzz his moms house everyday at lunchtime.
