totally used to watch it as a youngster.
ReplyDeleteI have no independent recollection of it at all, yet it is so familiar and comforting. Could this be why I like motorcycles so much? Was this played in my home over and over to a barely aware four year old? Devlin are you my true father? Where can I get a van that opens like his? This video causes more questions than answers. You can't spell"devil" without "devlin"
ReplyDeleteI didn't think you were that old, Dave? Chick-a-ba
ReplyDeleteOh god yes.....it was on Sunday mornings around here.
ReplyDeleteWatching it now I just can't get by the voice of Micky Dolenz.
wasn't his first name,Max?
ReplyDeletenow I know where my whistle tune came from...shit-subliminal cartoons.
ReplyDeleteThey played that up into the mid eighties in syndication i remember it being on up to when I was in High school (on USA by that point)
ReplyDeleteLove that show I had a toy version of that Van I am pretty sure
Yup, yup! Lovin' it... my fave as a kiddo was Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch... in fact, I just found it all for sale on-line and bought the entire series for my two and three year old girls. What would they do without their dear ol Popsy, right? lol
